Polyimide Film (Kapton)

Kapton, polyimide film has high and low temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, electrical insulation. Kapton Type HN is a tough, aromatic polyimide film that exhibits an excellent balance of physical, chemical and electrical properties over a wide temperature range. Kapton has been used successfully in low temperature applications of -452°F (-269°C) and high temperature of 752°F (400°C). Designed for applications where extreme heat and vibration are present. It is a very reliable insulation material as it provides the best protection even under the toughest conditions thanks to its unique mechanical properties.
